Internationale Berufspädagogik besuchte Forschungscampus STIMULATE
Am vergangenen Donnerstag, dem 28.01.2024, besuchte das Institut für Berufspädagogik (IBP) bereits zum zweiten Mal den Forschungscampus im Rahmen einer Exkursion. Die Teilnehmenden sind angehende, internationale Ärzt:innen welche am IBP Deutsch lernen, um anschließend in verschiedenen Kliniken in Deutschland tätig sein zu können.
Nach einer Vorstellung des Forschungscampus STIMULATE ging es für die 27 Teilnehmenden in insgesamt vier Forschungslabore, in denen sie zahlreiche aktuelle Forschungsaktivitäten anschauen konnten. Neben den Führungen durch die Großgerätelabore wie dem MRT und Angiographie-Labor, konnten die Teilnehmenden insbesondere im VR/AR- und Robotik-Labor die Forschungsaktivitäten selbst ausprobieren. In den Laboren hatten die angehenden Ärzt:innen auch zahlreiche Möglichkeiten mit den wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeitenden in den Austausch zu treten und mögliche zukünftige medizintechnische Forschungsthemen zu diskutieren.

International vocational education visited Research Campus STIMULATE
Last Thursday, 28.01.2024, the Institute of Vocational Education (IBP) visited the Research Campus for the second time as part of an excursion. The participants are prospective international doctors who are learning German at the IBP so that they can then work in various clinics in Germany.
After an introduction to the STIMULATE research campus, the 27 participants were taken to a total of four research laboratories, where they were able to view numerous current research activities. In addition to the guided tours of the large equipment laboratories, such as the MRI and angiography laboratory, the participants were able to try out the research activities for themselves, particularly in the VR/AR and robotics laboratory. In the laboratories, the prospective doctors also had numerous opportunities to interact with the scientific staff and discuss possible future medical technology research topics.
