Sommerfest 2024 des Forschungscampus STIMULATE: Ein Tag voller Freude und Vernetzung
Am 28. August 2024 fand das Sommerfest des Forschungscampus STIMULATE statt, welches nach der offiziellen 10-Jahres-Feier des Forschungscampus im Februar diesen Jahres eine Möglichkeit für alle an STIMULATE Beteiligten war, in informeller Umgebung die Erfolge der vergangenen Dekade zu feiern. Mit rund 100 Teilnehmenden aus Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft war das Fest ein voller Erfolg und bot eine ideale Plattform für den Austausch und die weitere Vernetzung.
Nach einer kurzen Begrüßung durch den Sprecher des Forschungscampus STIMULATE, Herrn Prof. Dr. Rose, hatten die Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, sich in der entspannten Atmosphäre auf dem Hauptcampus der Universität Magdeburg kulinarischen, sportlichen und sozialen Aktivitäten zu widmen. Das Grillbüffet bot von saftigen Steaks bis hin zu veganen Köstlichkeiten ein Angebot für jeden Geschmack. In Kombination mit dem reichhaltigen Getränkeangebot, welches bei über 30°C für die nötige Erfrischung sorgte, waren die Anwesenden gestärkt, um sich am direkt neben dem Veranstaltungsort liegenden Beachvolleyball-Feld sowie beim Spikeball oder beim Wikingerschach sportlich zu betätigen. Für die kleinsten Teilnehmenden gab es Angebote in Form von Dosenwerfen, Entenangeln und anderen spielerischen Aktivitäten.
Neben sportlichen Aktivitäten und kulinarischen Genüssen bot das Sommerfest auch zahlreiche Gelegenheiten für anregende Gespräche und den einen oder anderen fachlichen Austausch. In lockerer Atmosphäre konnten die Teilnehmenden neue Ideen entwickeln und mögliche Kooperationen besprechen.
Das Sommerfest 2024 des Forschungscampus STIMULATE war ein voller Erfolg und zeigte einmal mehr, wie wichtig solche Veranstaltungen für die Förderung von Gemeinschaft und Zusammenarbeit sind. An dieser Stelle möchten wir dem STIMULATE Verein sowie der RAYDIAX GmbH und der TVG – Technische Visualistik GmbH für ihr Sponsoring danken. Ein besonderer Dank für die umfangreiche organisatorische Unterstützung gilt der zentralen Betriebseinheit Medien, Kommunikation, Marketing (MKM), dem Sportzentrum und dem Sachgebiet K 52 der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg sowie dem Rektor Herrn Prof. Dr. Strackeljan. Nicht zuletzt bedanken wir uns bei allen Mitarbeitenden und zahlreichen anwesenden Alumni des Forschungscampus STIMULATE, die in den vergangenen mehr als 10 Jahren die Voraussetzungen für den Anlass des Festes erarbeitet und das Zusammentreffen ausgiebig zelebriert haben.
STIMULATE summer party 2024: a day full of fun and networking
On August 28, 2024, the Research Campus STIMULATE held its summer party, which, following the official 10th anniversary celebration of the Research Campus in February this year, was an opportunity for everyone involved in STIMULATE to celebrate the successes of the past decade in an informal setting. With around 100 participants from science and industry, the party was a complete success and provided an ideal platform for exchange and further networking.
After a brief welcome by the spokesperson of the Research Campus STIMULATE, Prof. Dr. Rose, the participants had the opportunity to enjoy culinary, sporting and social activities in the relaxed atmosphere on the main campus of the University of Magdeburg. The barbecue buffet offered something for every taste, from juicy steaks to vegan delicacies. In combination with the wide range of drinks on offer, which provided the necessary refreshment in temperatures of over 30°C, those present were invigorated to take part in sporting activities on the beach volleyball court located right next to the event venue, as well as spikeball and Viking chess. For the youngest participants, there were offers in the form of can throwing, duck fishing and other fun activities.
In addition to sporting activities and culinary delights, the summer party also offered numerous opportunities for stimulating discussions and the odd professional exchange. Participants were able to develop new ideas and discuss potential collaborations in a relaxed atmosphere.
The STIMULATE summer party was a complete success and once again demonstrated how important such events are for promoting community and collaboration. A special thanks for the extensive organizational support goes to the central operating unit Media, Communication, Marketing (MKM), the sports center and the department K 52 of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg as well as the rector Prof. Dr. Strackeljan. Last but not least, we would like to thank all the employees and numerous alumni of the Research Campus STIMULATE who have worked over the past 10 years to create the conditions for the event and celebrated the get-together in style.
